An event titled "Celebrating Nisai’s Journey in Bangladesh" was organized by Nisai Bangladesh on Thursday, March 14, 2024. 

Nisai, originally a UK-based online school established in 1996, now operates its programs in 27 countries including Bangladesh. Its primary objective has always been to cater to the needs of students with special requirements. Presently, it conducts educational programs for students with diverse needs through blended learning methods. 

Over the years, Nisai has expanded its reach, now offering adult education through the Nisai Professional Development Institute (NPDI). This institute provides courses in Professional English, ICT, Soft Skills development, and Employability, tailored to enhance adults' skills for success in today's workforce. Led by certified experienced educators, these courses blend theory with practical application, empowering individuals to thrive professionally in a competitive environment.

In 2021, Nisai commenced its journey in Bangladesh. Recently, teachers from across the country completed the internationally recognized National Open College Network (NOCN) Award in Education and Training- Level 3 course under the Hire and Train programme of the Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) project by Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), ICT Division. These certified teachers will have the opportunity to teach students from all over the world. Currently, from Nisai-Bangladesh office at Matikata Blue Moon Gram tower, certified teachers are conducting classes for students in Japan, Vietnam, and Malaysia. 

Notable attendees at the event included Munir Hasan, Coordinator of the Transformation and Youth Program at Prothom Alo, Abu Daud Khan, Vice President of the Bangladesh Association of Contact Centers and Outsourcing; Naznin Nahar, President of the ICT Journalists Forum. Dr. Faruk A Haolader, Professor at the Islamic University of Technology, Gazipur, and Abdullah Liton, Regional Development Manager at Pearson were also present.

In his speech at the event, Munir Hasan of Prothom Alo stated, "Nisai Bangladesh's initiative in providing international standard teachers' training in Bangladesh is commendable. This training has opened the door for Bangladeshi teachers to achieve international standards." He further emphasized, "Nisai Bangladesh's care-giving training program is noteworthy and timely. There is a great demand for skilled career-givers in Bangladesh and other countries around the world."
