The Team Atlas, a young robotics team from Bangladesh won two more awards including a gold medal at WSEEC 2024, a global science, environment and engineering competition held in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia.

Team Atlas of Bangladesh won the gold medal in the technology category with Blue-Bot, a water pollution prevention solution, in the competition held at Pancasila University on May 13-16, organized by Indonesia Young Scientists Association. The group was led by Sunny Zubair and consisted of Atiq Shahriar Hasan, Abdullah Ibn Hasan, Md Maruf Miah and Md Al Mahmud Alif.

Also, Bangladesh’s only female robot team, Code Black, won the Gold Myso Silver Award in the same category with the rescue robot guard in the competition. Led by Jannatul Ferdous Fabin, this team consists of Nusrat Jahan Sinha, Nusrat Jahan Naureen, Sania Islam Sara and Tahiya Rahman Bivor.
