Samsung R&D Institute in association with the Department of Computer S cience and Engineering conducted “Onsite selection contest” for the students of Daffodil International University today on November 04, 2019 titled “𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐑&𝐃 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞” held at CSE building.

Fresh graduates or just going to be passed out students in the current year 2019 participated in this onsite selection contest. 32 top tier students participated in today’s contest held in the hacker rank platform.

Mr. Gazi Munir Uddin, Head of HR, Mr. Ashraf-ul Asad, Chief Engineer, Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh, Prof. Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, Professor and Head, Dept of CSE and A I Tazib & Ifty Rahman, Lecturer of CSE were present at the contest initiation and visited the contest floor. The problems were given from easy to expert level. Volunteers from DIU Computer and Programming Club helped during the whole contest.

Selected participants from this contest will get the opportunity of Internship in Samsung R&D, Bangladesh through Samsung Tech Academy 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟔 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬. Through this program students will get training in different aspects of programming and recruitment process at Samsung. They will be trained to participate in the Advance Test of Samsung R&D, Bangladesh to be 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐑&𝐃, 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡.
